Hiring an outfit is easy as.......

  1. Contact The House of Tartan with this basic information

    • Date, day and type of event

    • Your name and contact details

    • How many outfits

    • Approximate sizes of each person

  2. Choose preferred tartan

  3. Come into the shop for accurate measurements and choosing of final outfit
  4. Make appointment for after-hours final fitting and dressing lesson (if necessary) which is on the Monday or Tuesday evening prior to the event
  5. Collect outfits from the rear of the shop after 2pm the day before the event
  6. Return outfits Monday

Special Notes on hiring

  • $50 per person non-refundable deposit taken at measurement and initial fitting

  • Underwear is compulsory due to Health Regulations

  • Balance of payment can be made in full at Final Fitting, or can be paid off in increments - speak with Management to arrange a payment plan that suits you

  • Final fittings cannot be done prior to Monday before the event, as items may be out on hire over the weekend - please check this with Management for special situations

  • Sgian Dubh is NOT included in a hire outfit
