The House of Tartan have been trusted since 1995 as the specialists in kilt hire and sales for WA. Since 2019, Greg & Jennifer McAdam have been the proud owners of The House of Tartan, taking the shop to new levels of service and product offering. From its humble beginnings in 1995, the local Scottish community have come to see the evolution of a shop offering just kilt hire, to what is now, extensive products for sale in a comfortable shop environment. We are so grateful to the previous owners, Mandy & Heather, as we have had the opportunity to stand on the shoulders of giants. This truly is a passion for us and we will continue to develop on the feedback from our clients. We are a Perth based family business and committed to providing a service that exceeds your expectations, for many years to come.
The staff at The House of Tartan are trained to assist you in finding your clan and tartan. We have a very large range of tartan samples, in store, allowing you to see and touch real tartan, instead of just looking at digital images on a computer screen.
We will not import tartans or any product at all from anywhere but Scotland. We are committed to the integrity of the business and its important to us, that you have authentic product, from Scotland.
Speak with our friendly staff to learn about our Woven to Order kilt making and design service. We offer a personal and bespoke service that you will not find anywhere else in Australia. We take pride in our craft and look forward to assisting people on there path of discovering there heritage.
This is a family run business, with Greg and Jennifer in the shop full time and 2 of our 4 children having completed a school based traineeship in kilt making.
We love what we do and sharing that passion everyday is what keeps us moving forward. Family and serving the community is something we will never take for granted. Its our commitment to all things Scottish, that is the foundation for our passion.
