Large Selection of Products

With access to every major mill in Scotland, we can make a kilt & flashes in the tartan of your choice. A "woven to order" process is available for tartan designs that are not commercially available. We have fabric sample books in store to see all the mills tartan fabrics. Our experienced staff are available to discuss your needs with an appointment made online. 

Fitting Service

At The House of Tartan, you can expect one-on-one experience and attention. Fittings are conducted in the shop by appointment only, using our online calendar. Just choose a day and time that suits you. Contact us, to assist with interstate or international bookings, as we have a special arrangement to look after clients that are not local to Perth.

Hire In-Store Products

Hiring an outfit for your special day is easy with us. Whether you're an individual or a party of 30, people we'll have you covered.

Hiring Information

  • Fittings are done by appointment. You'll explore outfit styles, tartans and try on for perfect fit. There is no need for a 2nd fitting.

  • The outfit is collected from the store, the day prior to the event and returned the next business day following your function. 

  • If the wearer is not in Perth, we can make arrangements for the pick up or return 

  • A $50 deposit is payable at the time of fitting to secure the outfit. The balance is payable at pick up of outfits.

  • Tweed outfit all-inclusive price is $329 - Choice of Charcoal & Light Grey.

  • Formal outfit all-inclusive price is $329 - Choice of Bonnie Price Charlie & Argyle.

  • Ghillie outfit all-inclusive price of $249 - White ghillie shirt available for hire & sale. Black ghillie shirts are available for sale only. 

  • Kilt, Sporran & Kilt hose outfit all-inclusive price of $155 ​

Special Notes: 

* The hirer has the option to bring anything they own, only paying for the items you need. 

* Underwear must be worn as detailed in the State Health Regulation
